Metro Signs Inc. in Hollywood, FL is looking for a full-time Production Artist to start Immediately.

Job Summary

As a Production Artist, your duties include liaising with a client to determine what kind of work and concepts the client has, generate ideas and create layouts that align with the client’s wants and needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Assist graphic design team in moving a high volume of mechanicals through to final production files for print production.
Provide design support of concepts for presentations for client-specific accounts.
Establish and maintain standards for production of digital and print files to ensure accuracy and meet deadlines.
Check all content and update revisions as needed through each stage of production.
Demonstrate the Company’s Core and Growth Values in the performance of all job functions.
Manage multiple projects and deadlines while working with internal and external teams.

Specific Job Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Any combination of education, training, and experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for the successful performance of the job functions. At a minimum, the candidate will have:

1 year relevant production work experience in an advertising agency, media or internal marketing communications environment, Required
Associate Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or related field, or equivalent work experience, Required
Perform under strong demands in a fast-paced environment
Effective time management and organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal skills
Work independently as well as in a team environment
Strong grasp of workflow system
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Maintain confidentiality
Working knowledge of Continuous Improvement
Handle multiple projects simultaneously within established time constraints
Proficient computer skills, including experience with Adobe Creative Suite
Work professionally with customers and co-workers to efficiently serve our customers, treating both with enthusiasm and respect
Display empathy, understanding, and patience with employees and clients
Respond professionally in situations with difficult employee/vendor/client issues or inquiries
