Full-time Sign Installer

Metro Signs Inc. in Hollywood, FL is looking for a full-time Sign Installer to start Immediately.

Job Summary

The Sign Installer position is responsible for the hands-on installation of non-electrical signage to include adhesive vinyl graphics, banners, rigid panel signs, and wide format digital print graphics on windows and walls in-house and at customer locations throughout the South Florida area. The installer should have extensive experience in working with manual and power tools, as well as having the ability to work on ladders or scaffolding. The installer may be required to be certified in operating certain powered aerial lifts. This individual must exercise safety at all times, looking out for their co-workers and being aware of their surroundings.

Specific Job Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Advanced skill in the application of cut vinyl to various substrates.

• Should have the ability to:

  • Operate light hand tools, drills, and saws.

  • Install wide format vinyl prints on windows, walls, and vehicles.

  • Install in-ground, post, and panel site signs into soil, asphalt, and concrete.

  • Install wall-mounted and hanging sign panels.

  • Install interior and exterior dimensional graphics and letters.

  • Safely lift, move or carry objects weighing 50 lbs. without the assistance of others.

• Licensed driver with a good driving record.

• Additional preferred qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the Wall Murals & Electrical experience is a plus.

  • Certified installation professional (3M, Oracal, Avery, etc.) a plus.
