Since 1988, Metro Group Miami has excelled through award winning creative designs, quality craftsmanship and experienced installation all while maintaining exceptional customer service without compromise.

We take pride in what we do and we are masters of our craft. Our wide range of products and services include signage, printing, art displays, wall murals, vehicle wrapz, promotional items and much more. We cater to many industries and corporations including sports, music, entertainment, travel, hospitality, retail, boating and transportation.

WHY A MERMAID?

Mermaids appear in the folklore of many cultures worldwide and are usually associated with perilous events such as storms and shipwrecks. Other stories paint mermaids in a more benevolent light, bestowing boons or falling in love with humans. No matter the outcome, the mermaid's alluring "Siren Song" is definitely hard to resist.

OPEN POSITIONS

GRAPHIC DESIGNER

Metro Group Miami is looking for a well-rounded Graphic Designer to join our fast-paced, progressive and rapidly growing company. The ideal candidate is excited and eager to learn.

Essential Functions

Communicate efficiently with internal departments on requested projects to ensure objectives are clearly understood and met
Arrange and coordinate various print jobs projects with printers to ensure deadlines are met and invoices are submitted
Supply files for external artwork requests, ensure approved and appropriate work order is sent out to clients within proper time frames

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field or study required
Minimum two (2) years experience in internal graphic design role
Familiarity of design principles, typography and color theories required
Advanced experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign) required

SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

Possess the ability to coordinate, prioritize and meet simultaneous project deliverables and deadlines, excelling under pressure
Must be detailed-oriented with a flawless degree of accuracy
Exhibit excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (interpersonal, business writing and ad copy-writing)
Must be coachable, i.e. a good listener, able to respond to real-time results, design projects and collaborative, constructive feedback
Must be able to work autonomously, as well as part of a team
